Bethel is a social welfare and a charitable society. Bethel began to reach the poor with love and compassion in 1978. The buildings and the premises were established slowly and steadily to obtain its objectives. Later new buildings were constructed. The main idea was to meet the health care needs of the neighboring area.
Bethel has been funding several poor girls and boys in completing their nursing degrees. The vision to start a Nursing College begun in 2020. The uniqueness of this college will be that it will admit orphans and the poor too those who have qualified JCECEB Examination and will show them how they can obtain a degree in nursing.
He felt the dearth of a good Nursing institution in the area. He came with the idea to start a Nursing College (B.Sc). He faced many oppositions through some unforeseen encounters. He did not give up. The birth of Bethel College of Nursing was taken place in 2020.
Bethel College of Nursing, Ranchi, maintains a high standard of education and training in nursing. The institution is affiliated with Ranchi University and recognized by the Jharkhand Nurses Registration Council (JNRC), ensuring adherence to national educational norms and quality standards. The Candidate must have to Qualify the JCECEB examination which is conducted by state Government.
The college offers well-structured program B.Sc Nursing, designed to equip students with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills. The faculty is highly qualified and experienced, providing academic and clinical guidance.

As I reflect on my four incredible years at Bethel College of Nursing, I am filled with gratitude and pride. The journey has been challenging yet rewarding, shaping me into the nurse I am today. From the moment I stepped onto campus, I was surrounded by supportive faculty and inspiring peers. Their encouragement motivated me to strive for excellence. I embraced every opportunity for learning—whether it was hands-on clinical experiences or engaging in meaningful discussions in class.
The late nights of studying, group projects, and practical exams were tough, but they taught me resilience and time management. Each challenge strengthened my determination to succeed. I learned the importance of compassion, empathy, and teamwork, values that I will carry into my nursing career.
