The Lamp Lighting and oath taking ceremony is a tribute to “Florence Nightingale – the Lady with the Lamp.” The Lamp lighting and the oath-taking ceremony of the 4th batch B.Sc(N) students was conducted on  9th February 2024. This ceremony initiates students into the noble profession of Nursing. The lamp signifies the firm decision of the young students to be trained to care for the sick and the wounded persons. The lighting of the lamp symbolizes the transfer of knowledge, skills and sprit of nursing among students. The Lamp Lighting ceremony formally declares the student’s entry into the nursing profession.
